Here are some suggestions that might get your day off to an awesome start:
Rule Your Day!
Suggestions: Read this to a loved one as a gift offering of meditation
Record yourself and listen to your voice as you guide yourself with this meditation.
Use the recording to meditate with anyone close to you ~
Hug yourself or your partner at the end.
Slow down your breathing. As you inhale and exhale allow yourself to be still, quiet, calm and present.
Soften your heart and bring it into the present. Let go of thoughts, relax your mind and your body. Let the tensions go. Let go of any worries or any decisions you’ve made about love and your worthiness to receive it. Be very present with the miracle of your breath.
As you breathe in, this time bring in your consciousness- the awareness of love. Whatever love is for you, whether you’ve experienced it recently, a long time ago, or its present for you now. It doesn’t matter. Bring up what love is in you right now- whatever that love feels like to you; kind, patient, caring, tender, joyful and fill yourself with that feeling and see yourself softening inside. Smile a faint beautiful inner and outer smile and tell yourself
Ahh, I am letting love in. I am letting love in, I am letting love in. I am safe to let love in.
As you open your heart, imagine that there is a wave of love, a wave of kindness- no resistance, no fear but a sense of absolute total safety and protection.
Allow people in your life to love you the way they love you and take in their love and caring, taking the love you’ve experienced, even if you were not the beneficiary of that love but the observer of love. Let that love in. Let it in from things you have read that have moved you, from movies you have seen, from poems you have read, from people in the street, from wherever you have glimpsed it, let the love in and keep lifting any veils that separate you and restrict you from letting love in. As you relax your heart and your whole being allow yourself to be immersed in a presence of love. Stay there for a few moments…quiet, still, present and full.
Whenever you are ready take both of your hands and place them over your heart - anchor that feeling of letting love in. Take a deep breath, and as you exhale open your eyes, wriggle your fingers and toes, roll your neck to the left and right and with that feeling of having let love in experience the openness and fullness of your heart. As you are present back in the room, stay open and receptive to love. Namaste

Did you know stress is a major cause of inflammation in your body?
Did you know you can reduce the impact of stress by practicing deep breathing?
I have been a yoga and meditation instructor for almost a decade. I have been a practicing yogi since my late teens. I have seen firsthand the empowerment this practice can give. In my coaching practice all of my clients are invited to learn practices of deep breathing for stress reduction. This is a fundamental piece of my coaching practice to start reducing inflammation, lose weight and increase the immune system. Stress elevates the Cortisol hormone in your body which can lead to belly fat.
By not giving yourself over to stress and staying in a centered place you allow yourself permission to navigate the fields of life with clarity and calmness.
Take a full deep breath in and full exhale out before confronting any situation such as making a impromptu decision or speaking to an adversary.
Try this quick, simple and effective breathing exercise. This is best practiced while lying on your back, so you might want to try it while falling asleep or upon waking. It can help you unwind from a hectic day, or face a new day with a calm outlook.
Close your eyes, letting your arms rest alongside your body, and focus attention on your breath without trying to influence it. Focus on your inhale and your exhale.
Now imagine that with each inhalation the universe is blowing breath into you and with each exhalation withdrawing it. Imagine yourself to be the passive recipient of breath. As the universe breathes into you, let yourself feel the breath penetrating to every part of your body, even your fingers and toes.
Try to hold the perception for ten cycles of exhalation and inhalation. Start with doing this once per day.
Embrace yourself with Compassion!
Being compassionate with yourself is the greatest gift you can give to your soul and your body.
Show loving kindness by ~nurturing yourself with healthy nutritious foods, ~hydrate regularly ~ 8 - 10 12 oz glasses of water per day to keep the skin radiant and organs functioning well. Add slices of lemon or cucumber for a refreshing drink bring stillness and quiet into your life at least once a day for 10 minutes by taking a walk in silence or sitting in a still quiet place. By being compassionate with yourself gives you the opportunity to bring clarity to your mind and unload tension. Giving yourself space to know you are doing the best you can and permission to love yourself for it.
